Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Physics (University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius), Master’s Degree in Ecological Economics (Integrated Business Institute in Skopje).
Ilija Sazdovski is currently writing his PhD thesis, supervised by Dr Pere Fullana i Palmer, at the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change ESCI-UPF. His thesis aims to develop and apply LSA methodology to managing packaging waste. He is studying the determinants that reinforce or weaken the hierarchy of waste management, including prevention, preparation for reuse, recycling, other types of recovery and waste elimination.
Ilija Sazdovski is a member of the International Association of Energy Engineers. Between 2012 and 2018, he sat on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Conference for Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environmental Systems. He is also author of the National Energy Monitoring System for local self-governments and co-author of the III National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2016–2018 for Macedonia.
