The modernist enclosure of Sant Pau will host the conference recinte modernista de Sant Pau acollirà el el proper divendres 17 de febrer la conferència 'Climate Futures: Financing the Low-carbon Energy Transition' on February 17. The conference, organized by CIDOB (Barcelona Centre for International Affairs), CADS (Advisory Council for the Sustainable Development of Catalonia) and the IDDRI (Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations), will bring together experts from India, Morocco, the US and Europe to identify solutions for leveraging climate finance in developing and emerging economies.
After the conference, the UN Habitat City Resilience Profiling Programme will host the opening of the exhibition 'Where will we go?', a visceral and visual statement on the plight of people confronting the loss of their land and livelihoods as a result of sea level rise and coastal erosion. The event will feature Kadir van Lohuizen, photojournalist and author of the exhibition; Dan Lewis, director of the UN Habitat City Resilience Profiling Programme; and Arnau Queralt, director of the Advisory Council for Sustainable Development of Catalonia (CADS).
